Let's take lesson from those who have already tried it, learn from them and do our own way,
- Love your work. "The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep on looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find them. "
- Don't resist your laurels. "We sold our fantasy sports company for a sum that at the time we thought was really ridiculous-$31 million. After that, I thought we were made, that we would just relax and have fun. As it turns out, a day after, we were literally in a production meeting for multiply.com... We were in a basement fleshing ideas."
- Keep an eye on the prize. "In the beginning, I was so sorry for myself. I didn't have money because everything we earned went straight back into the business. Still, it was a balance life and the business always keep me busy... When I started realizing the benefits of being in the business on my own, I no longer want to return to my old job. Here, I have the freedom to be who i want to be."
- Share what you have. "I was growing tired of the corporate life and was actually considering retirement. However, I also wanted to share my experience and knowledge-to provide solutions that would benefit others and to prove that Filipinos have the skills to compete on global scale."
- Jump at the chance. "I have learned to open my eyes to opportunities and to be risk-taker when necessary. If you always look at what could go wrong, your fear would freeze you into action."
- Always be prepared. "Luck is matter of preparation meeting opportunity."
- Learn your lessons. "It's fine to celebrate success but it is important to heed the lessons of failure."
- Keep moving. "Success seems to be connected with action. Successful men keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit."
- Be immersed in your business. "A business has to be involving, it has to be fun, and it has to exercise your creative instincts."
- Chase your dreams. "All dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them."
