What you must Remember

  All of us can be successful when modern technology is combined with "old fashioned" positive thinking, charm, persuasion, persistence, and commitment.

  To me, people like Louise Padgett point out what is most exciting about our great profession. Change and technology cannot pass us by unless we allow them to because each of us is restricted only by mental and emotional attitudes. As long as we control our attitudes, we can be as productive as we choose to be-in whatever we want to do. In Louise's words, "you know yourself that it takes enthusiasm, hard work and, as the old saying goes, "a lot of guts." I keep my clock of enthusiasm wound up real tight, and I always try to think positively." That is great advice for all of us as we deal with change and technology.
