As your reputation grows, you will get invitation to share your experiences before an audience. If people find you effective, you can start charging them a fee and then you can turn public speaking as an occupation. Other speaker start by writing a motivational book first and then they get invited to facilitate workshops and deliver speeches to people who believed enough to the book.
- You must be willing to invest your own money. At first, you may need to pay your own air fare and hotel accommodation when going to a speaking engagement. Then later, you can charge P5,000 to P10,000 for one to two hour talk. Once you have a more established name, you may charge P20,000 to P30,000 per talk. When you are already famous, you can charge as high as P50,000 for every speaking engagement.
