Villasis is known as the vegetables bowl of Pangasinan. Six years ago, the Municipality of Villasis headed by Former Mayor Nonato S. Abrenica had decided to rename its fiesta into Talong Festival, it was during that time that they made the longest Talong grill along Mc Arthur Highway. The first street dancing competition was also been started.
