Getting the Selling Profession Security

Of course, It will be less honest if I'll not telling that the high income potential offered in the profession of selling is a tremendous lure to those who are ambitiously dissatisfied with having low ceilings established on their worth and activities. I'll also tell you that this adds
to the security of being in sales. Security, according to General Douglas MacArthur, comes from your ability to produce; in other words, it is an "inside" job. In sales you don't have to wait for things to happen; you make thing happen. When business is slow, you can go out and stir the marketplace and get it into action.
Your attitude, discipline, willingness to work, and organizational skills bring you a security that is not found when you're dependent on the whims of other people who are frequently incapable of making objective evaluations about your worth. As a salesperson, you can tip the scales in your own favor by getting up earlier, working later, becoming more professional, in learning how to better serve and persuade. All these things simply mean you have greater control of your life and your future, and that is a secure feeling.
